whats going on over at cap1

Have you opened a lot of checking accounts lately (and suddenly), or other banking accounts? If so, that could be flagging internal systems with an alert for identity theft.

ive had the same checking account for 20yrs now with my local bank.  i opened up the online 360 accounts (checking, savings, cd) when it was ingdirect in 2006.  other than that, thats all.   besides my credit cards and auto loans back in august, no accounts.

I have 2 Cap One Accounts, and haven't ever heard of this.
