When Discover gave me a CLI from 39.5k > 40.0k I suddenly realized that was my limit and I should stop asking 
I'm mostly happy with my other cards and limits, although instead of asking Chase for a CLI I might ask them to dive off a cliff.

Unfortunately, the only direction in which to adjust the slider is "downward." So i don't think you're missing much.
