which card to use for amazon purchases.

What cards do most people use when buying stuff from amazon, I was just wondering since they usually don't have any bonus spending from cc portals? I wondering if it would be silly for me to use BCP to buy amazon gift cards at supermarket to get 6% cashback and use those amazon gift cards to make purchase at amazon.

Re: which card to use for amazon purchases.

For me all on Sallie Mae with 5% as I gave up to search for Amazon gift cards at  supermarkets...simply could not find any !  Recently tested a purchase on Amazon Europe (Germany) and was surprised to get 5 x points there as well but of course with FTF. Was just a test to see what Barclays Sallie Mae would do on other Amazon platforms.

i am no where near max of 6000 for groceries on my amex BCP card, and its getting downgraded next month anyways to a BCE. I may as well take advantage of the 6% category while i still have it. Eventually I think when i get my SM card that will be on amazon duty, except when i need to buy an big purchase like an laptop or TV maybe.

Most of the supermarkets i frequent have amazon gift card at them. Heck they even have VGC , i am an little too chicken to buy those since it could potentially scare amex.
