I wonder of they force us to get new charge cards if the promo bonuses will be available?

Typically not.  If you get the option to convert it to a new card, I'd apply for the new card instead to get the bonus unless you have a reason to be partcularly app sensitive (e.g., upcoming mortgage).

Re: zync!?!?!?

They will most likely have a phase exit plans for the Zync in the next 2 years. They slowly did that with the Optima. Although the Optima is till offerred to some. I doubt someone could PC to a revolver.

Agree. At least if it is a Zync with PSL or a really new ZYNC card.

Re: zync!?!?!?

Im going to give it a couple weeks and then call Amex to see whats going on.  I'd like to keep my card but if forced to close it and not eligible for promos then I'll close the card and reapply for new charge card in 3 months when I can get the promo deals.  I'll still have my AMEX Delta and backdate to 1993.

Re: zync!?!?!?

If the packs are no longer affective i have to SD this card. I wont close it. Its so pretty. But the packs is what i use it for. The discounts on the travel pack and vegas pack were amazing for me.

Any more info if the packs are still effective?

Re: zync!?!?!?

I just got my card and paid for the various packs.  If the packs are useless then I want a refund on the pack price.

Re: zync!?!?!?

I only got the free packs when I gothe zync and in 6 months, I havent used the card at all. It served it purpose but without the packs, the card at least for me is useless.

Well I guess once the next statement cuts, we should know.

I added my packs on Sep 29th ... and did receive the welcome Lowes gift card last Saturday. So the packs should be alive I guess.

Re: zync!?!?!?

my zync doesnt see much use now. just an internet bill that won't take discover, and the occassional trip to walmart for the eco-pack bonus(i'm more of a target guy though). but without the rewards mall, it's just not that attractive anymore with the relatively low value MRE points.
