Judge Christopher A. Boyko of the Eastern Ohio United States District Court, on October 31, 2007 dismissed 14 Deutsche Bank-filed foreclosures in a ruling based on lack of standing for not owning/holding the mortgage loan at the time the lawsuits were filed.

Also interesting for anyone looking to make a little extra cash by foreclosing on properties for which you don't hold the note. I'm all about the positive.

Yeah - but it gets really interesting for all of those big companies/funds who have money tied up with these mortgage backed securities. Hmmm - maybe those big $$$$$ writedowns lately are just the tip of the iceburg....
