Re: Guilt By Association

I use our Cap One cards for our TC and MyFICO SW subs ... I wonder how Cap One will interpret that??!! I wonder how AmEx would (if we had them)?

Would they see it as a "danger sign" that our credit needs repair (like Cap One doesn't already know, LOL!) or would they see that as a "positive sign" since we're concerned about our credit standings??

Any opinions?

Re: Guilt By Association

I feel for the guy-

I think if AMEX is going to use the Lender for criteria to CLD- they need to get all of the information-

We don't have much choice in who our mortgages get sold to,

They also need to calculate Equity, lates and APR

I have NEVER been reported late on a mortgage payment-

Even with 30% reduction in my home value- I still have 200K in equity and at a 6.3% fixed APR.

In my recent letter to AMEX- I told them I was considering a re-fi and asked them to send a list of their approved mortgage lenders-
