Interesting article that underlines that the CRA's sell data to anyone willing to pay. The most glaring example is when you apply for a mortgage all of a sudden JDB's pop out of the woodwork .... then again if you look at the home pages of CRA's and go to their business offers you'll get a further look at what they offer as far as reports on everything to both sides of the aisle.
