Introduced...bill would replace consumer director with panel - CFPB
Very little chance this will become law, but it's an interesting article that looks at the politics of the CFPB from both sides (as always I will stay away from the "attack" politics). Still a panel such is used in other agencies such as CMS-Medicare and the FCC is an interesting option.
