Great article, and I'm glad she supports the Credit Cardholder's Bill of Rights. She even includes a link at the end of page 2. I hope that someone besides me uses it! Not that I expect anything out of my representative... 
I followed the UK case quite closely - it has already cost the banks a couple of billion dollars, and YK's populations is only about 20% of the US population.
But we can't do that in the States - you can't have a socialist government preventing the trustworthy banks and CCs from making an honest living - that is verging on communism.
