Re: NFCU American Express

Update on this:

Rewards Structure is expected to be:

3points per dollar on gas and groceries, 2x restaurants, 1x everywhere else.

Max. credit limit is $50k for those who qualify. Generally, members are limited well below that in their first year.

Also, product changes and convenience checks are not available.

Thanks for the update!  Smiley Happy

It's looking like it will be similar to the BCE (assuming the points are worth 1¢), which will likely interest many people.

Interesting.  Hopefully NFCU rewards aren't as much of a pain in the neck as Centurion Bank.   That's the reason I don't use BCE for groceries, because I don't spend enough to deal with their cashback program.

Re: NFCU American Express

Out of curiosity how did you get blacklisted from Amex?
They were my first judgement on my CR in 2010. It's now gone and they are sending pre approvals in the mail. In 2008 my CL was 10K my balance was about 7800$ one day my limit dropped to 6000!!! Which pushed me over my limit and added all kinds of fees. They did me dirty 😠
