Let me emphasize that number: 786 for the best rate. This is the highest cutoff I have seen published anywhere for any loan category.  I've long been accustomed to regarding my own scores (EQ 787/TU 796/EX 821) as über-prime, but now it seems I'm just barely in the lowest-risk category.
