Actually I have a Starbucks gold card too, honestly I didn't think it was a big deal until I saw this video 
Not like I have $200 stored on it though.....but now I'm going to make sure that I have the number written down somewhere just in case....
I guess it functions like a prepaid card, which makes me wonder if prepaid cards have any loss/theft protection for cases like this ??
