Yes, good news, but for once I'd like to hear a consumer-friendly ruling from somewhere other than the Ninth Circuit.

Fortunately for those of us who live in States outside the jurisdiction of the Ninth Circuit, its jurisdiction does include California so national companies that do business there (which is most national companies since California represents such a huge chunk of the US economy) frequently find it simpler and safer to comply with the rulings of the Ninth Circuit everywhere.
