This is big. They are using trended data and deeper analysis. This could lead to more banks/lenders to use Vantage.

To misquote the old state motto, my father and grandparents were from Missouri; they've got to show me! But yeah, it'd be nice if it does happen that way, especially if it doesn't cause my Vantage scores to drop excessively. But I'm not holding my breath just yet.

Rebuilding credit since 2015 (BK filed 8/14, discharged 12/14) - started out in 570's, now approaching 700 (FICO 6/17:TU 646/EX 678/EQ 677 FICO 8 or 690 NG 2, VS 3.0 6/21/17: TU 686/EX 684/EQ 693)! $951 Cap One secured Platinum/$3000 Cap One Quicksilver/$800 Amazon Prime Store Card/$3300 Discover It/$4000 Overstock Store Card/$1200 Walmart Store Card/$2000 Apple FCU Platinum Visa/$10k PenFed used car loan/$5k Navient student loan. Back in the garden as of 6/21/17 until at least Sept. 2017 unless I get a preapproval I can't refuse...

Re: Scoring Changes on MSN homepage

The only bank I had heard that was using VS was Cap-1 and I have not heard that in awhile now. I tend to think all those scores are going to people with all the freebie places like CK and CS.

"If there's a lack of money in your life, understand that feeling worried, envious, jealous, disappointed, discouraged, doubtful or fearful about money can never bring more money to you, because those feelings come from a lack of gratitude for the money you have."

"Reactions are powerful creators because they contain every element needed to manifest—they're a combination of thought, belief, and feeling in action. Positive reactions create more positive things, and negative reactions create more negative things. If you can respond to negative situations calmly and lightly, instead of with emotional turbulence, what happens next in your life will be so much better."

Agreed Gdale6. I think the main use is the freeebie. Some rental companies use Vantage.

I don't know, I suspect lenders see the trended data already, and if they have it, it's almost guarunteed some lenders are already using it.

May make a difference to smaller lenders, but a lot of those don't switch algorithms easily.

Starting Score: EQ 5 561, TU 98 567, EX 2 599 (12/30/11)

Goal Score:    EQ 5 750, TU 4 750, EX 2 750, EQ 8 800, TU 8 Blah, EX 8 800 (01/01/18)

ABC reporting major credit score changes

If I didn't read this site I'd believe it. They are saying vantage 3 will pretty much take over later this year...
