Re: Take the FICO Fitness Challenge for 2011!

With my lay ouff last May, My FICO score took a major hit. Thankfully I dont have a lot of cc debt. But I do have things on my CR that I am focusing on. This year I plan to pay down everything on my report.

I take the challenge to bring it up and not have to file Bankruptcy

1.  Your FICO score goal for 2010  was 582

2.  Your current FICO score(s) 462

3.  The steps you plan to take to achieve your goal :smileytongue:ay down my debt get current on all my bills and proactively start to save.

Re: Take the FICO Fitness Challenge for 2011!

Hello everyone,

My FICO score goal for 2011 is 675

My current FICO score is 594

I plan on obtaining a credit card and keeping the balance below 30% of the credit limit.

I promised myself to not be late on any payments this year.

I promised myself to seriously curtail frivolous spending, and only pay with cash on non-essential items.

I plan on buying a used car toward the end of 2011, and plan on getting a loan with a decent interest rate for once!

Thanks and wish me luck

Re: Take the FICO Fitness Challenge for 2011!

To take the challenge, tell us:

1.  My fico score goal is to get between 650 and 700

2.  My current fico score is 603

3. Im going to continue to pay my debts off and fix what I messed up on. I started at a 499 over a year ago so I'm doing pretty good. I think. It would have been  a lil higher but I had some negative accounts come back up.

SO FOR PEOPLE GETTINGS NEGATIVES REMOVED. you want to make sure it is a hard delete and not a soft delete bc the soft deletes are just removed for the time being but once they are verified they can hurt you all over again.

Good luck to all Happy 2011

Welcome to the forums.

I must admit I've never heard the terms "hard" and "soft" deletes. Of course there are many things I've never heard of.  :smileyhappy:

Can you explain what you mean by this?

Re: Take the FICO Fitness Challenge for 2011!

I am currently at 613 due to a short sale in 2009 and delinquent medical bills. We have been paying off our debt through a DMP. Our debt is now below $15,000. We have been on the program for 2 years. Our projected payoff is in February 2013. I would like to be over 700 by the end of the year. A year ago we were below 500. What are our chances?
