1. FICO goal for 2011: 720+
2. Current scores: EQ 626/TU 602 EX ?
3. I plan to continue to pay down my one installment account in addition to using the purchase/pay off system for my one little credit card (Cap One - $400CL).
The pay for delete letters worked for me but the biggest winner was the GW letters...I was shocked at how quickly they worked! My scores jumped 98 points from July 2010 to now! My installment account does not report to TU which would be a great help, so if you have ideas to remedy this by all means let me know!
Hello and welcome.
This sometimes happens. Creditors don't always report to all 3 CRA's. My CU never reports my car loans to TU. You can call your lender and ask about this. It might just be an honest mistake. It's worth a shot.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 9/09 pulled by lender 802, EQ - 10/10-813, TU - 10/10-774

Welcome carissa to the forums! I'd suggest posting the same over in the Understand FICO Scoring board. If you do, be sure to mention if you have any baddies reporting and what has been done at this point in your rebuilding process.
ETA....achieving your goals is dependent upon the amount of work you put into it, but I have no doubt you'll surpass that goal inside of a few short months or less with effort.

To take the challenge, tell us:
1. Your FICO score goal for 2011 My goal is to be at 700 at years end
2. Your current FICO score(s) 607
3. The steps you plan to take to achieve your goal Remove the incorrect items on report, build a little new credit, pay all items on time

My goal isn't as ambitious as many others, perhaps because it feels overwhelming right now having such a low score. :-(
Anyway, my goal is to come as close as possible (or surpass) 700 with all 3 bureaus.

Hey everyone!
I've been reading the forum for a while now and learning so much useful information. I'm finally ready to tackle my bad credit. I've learned so much from reading the board, I'm actually excited to get started. Can't wait to see my numbers go up!
1. FICO score goal for 2011 - I'd like to get near a 680 by the end of the year. I know it's idealistic, but a girl can dream, right? I'd be happy with anything at or above 650
2. Your current FICO score(s) - I just pulled via the Suze Orman Kit and I have TU:614 and EQ:573
3. The steps you plan to take to achieve your goal - settling my CO accounts that are pulling the score down, start rebuilding credit w a store card (if i can get one) or a secured card
