Basically I followed the advice on here. Rather than letting my paid collections (OSI medical collections) I contacted them several times until they removed all three from every CRA.
I contacted Macy's who gave me both a CLI (no hard) and a complete GW for all three lates. Then I consolidated my student loans, meaning all five of the old ones were marked as paid. I had a 30, 60, 90, and 120 on each of the 5 student loans (didnt know that the 6 month grace was cumulative
). Since they were paid AES said they will GW them (that has not even hit the reports yet, although I think they are going to flat out remove them, not GW the lates.)I found most of my creditors, BOA, Macys, AES and even OSI (GASP) easy to deal with. Then there is WAMU. No luv there.
