Just applied for Uverse and my credit was pulled twice on the same day. Once as a SP and the other a HP, has this happened to anyone else?

I thought utilities were mainly SP.

Most have reported their cell phones were HPs. My water, trash, and power were no pulls. Cable (Verizon) and security (ADT) were hard pulls.

Their Uverse do a hard pull.

I have a hard pull from them last May.

It's really bad that they do a hard pull and do not notify me online before pulling.

I don't understand why on my report the did both a HP and a SP on the same day, very odd.

I agree, they should notify you.
