30 Days to DV?

I have all of my DV letters ready to send out today, have read all about how to do it, etc... then I see a post on here saying that the CA's only have to respond to it if you DV within 30 days of getting a letter from them? In all the books and other posts Ive read on this subject, that has never come up. Has anyone had any success DVing after the 30 days is up? Or are the CA's not legally bound to validate now?

Re: 30 Days to DV?

Unless you live in a state that otherwise permits it, you are supposed to DV within 30 days of the first letter...........but sometimes you don't get a letter Smiley Surprised and find it on your CR a year or so down the road and send a DV.

Unless they can prove you received something or was aware of the debt before that time........I'd bet the judge would rule in your favor.
