$54 tax lien, released . . .

So I owed the IRS $54 which resulted in a lien by the time I found out about it - it has been paid and released.  Is there any thing I can do to remove this from my report - my credit is generally good but this is a big RED mark against it and it just burns me.

10 years from the date it was paid. I don't believe you can get them removed.

Actually a friend of mine had the same thing and successfully called the IRS and they sent a letter for her to forward to the CBs and they removed it.  Her lien was 15k.

Wow, my hubby has a paid tax lien, he hasn't been so lucky. I'm going to try again.
