A Debt 19 years ago showed up on my credit report

shows that I have not made a payment until October 2014 and the account is closed.

I am so clueless because I have never heard of the creditor. I filed a dispute as I have not made a payment to this creditor.

My credit score dropped from 748 to 640 because this was put on my file. Says it will be there until 2021.

Is this allowable? Can I get this removed? Could someone please tell me what to do to get this removed as I have nothing from the dispute I filed with transunion yet. So far transunion is the only one that has it, I feel defeted.

Please share any information you can.

File a police report stating that you never authorized any such account, and send a copy to the CRA.

The CRA must then block it from your credit report.
