Hiya!
My oldest account is a student loan opened back in 2010 and my oldest credit card account is from 2011. If my goodwill works and I am able to get the credit card tradeline removed (there are late payments on it and I wouldn't mind having it gone), is this going to affect my AAoA? I don't completely understand if it works differently between having student loans and credit card accounts.
Thanks for your input!

All OC accounts affect your AAoA, so having an OC TL completely removed will take away its impact on AAoA as well.

It doesn't. It's Average Age of Accounts, not Average Age of Revolving Accounts or Average Age of Installment Accounts, etc. As indicated above, all open and closed accounts on your report factor in. It's just a matter of averaging the age of all accounts on the report.
Thanks, I got it.
