You can convert the Delta to Blue if you want. I'm keeping the Delta card. I was pondering the same question you asked but due to the large # of F/Rs being done I chose not to. Perhaps in a few months I might go for another card but not just yet.
If your scores are good and you could use another card they won't do another pull on your report so it won't cost you an inq to try again.
