I CLOSED my AU accounts with DH and would like to know how the CL and balance on his accounts will affect me. I only had the AU accounts for a month and was afraid he might miss a payment so I canceled my AU accounts with him.  Will the accounts  show for 7-10 years even if I only had them for a month or maybe less?  What is going to report on my account now that I closed the AU cards?  Will my account only show my CL and my balance now  that AU accounts are closed?

With AU's, my understanding is the entire tradeline is expected to drop off your credit report altogether when discontinued, and it's a pretty easy resolution by calling the lender if they're not.  In effect, the only things remaining on your reports once they're updated properly will be your own individual tradelines (or actual joint accounts) and none of the AU ones.
