Advice please... tax refund

OK, i'm getting back $12,000.  (no its not a typo!!)  My action plan is as follows...

PFD  6 collections (waiting reply)
Trying to locate and PFD a judgement
GW 5 collections paid entries (waiting reply)
Applied and recieved 1 CC (not used yet)
Got a $3,000 loan (to build credit and pay off CA)

I have 11 negs (all collections or collections paid off)
Only $6000 total debt that I can pay immediatly
Only one positive on a JCP card that has not been used since 2003

Im thinking the CC and loan will help add positive to my report since I only have one thats very old AND not to mention I am checking the mailbox every day like a kid to see if I've gotten any replies yet.

Any suggestions??  I need my score fixed fast (dont we all!)

How long has that loan for $3M been in effect? What was the original balance on that loan? If you haven't had it for a year yet, I would suggest keeping it for a year to help your scores. However, I would pay it down to the point where it will pay off by normal monthly payments when it hits one year old (I hope that makes sense).

It's hard to say whether or not I like your PFD plan, because I don't know if you have already sent DV to CAs. Don't know DOFD/DOLA and SOL for your state. I like your plan to GW, however.

Call JCP and see if it's still in effect before utilizing. Does it still show your CL and that it's open? Put no more than 9% on your new CC (or don't allow it to report any more than that).

Re: Advice please... tax refund

You are letting the GOV hold on to too much of your money-

at 6% you gave the goverment about a $400 interest free loan.

Next year just send me the $400 and I won't post this again Smiley Wink
