I am a AU on my wife's Blue card which has a balance of $1697.00 and CL of $2800.00..this card is back dated to 1989 by ways of DW being a AU on my Amex Gold card.
I am wondering if I should be removed as a AU from this card (because of the Util) and maybe lose some AAoA in my history?
Some other information in my report:
EQ15 Years AAoA and Oldest account is 26 years 4 month with a 735 Fico score
TU 15 Years AAoA and Oldest account is 26 years 4 month with a 755 Fico score
Im not sure if the Util on the DW Blue card is affecting my score or not, my utility on my cards is approx 18% not counting the Blue Amex.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Your AAoA with this CC is 15 years. What's your AAoA without this CC? Is this the oldest revolving?
Your util with this CC is 18%. What's your util without this CC?
How many other CCs do you have?

Your AAoA with this CC is 15 years. What's your AAoA without this CC? When i add all my accounts i still come up with 15 years
Is this the oldest revolving? 26+ YEARS
Your util with this CC is 18%. What's your util without this CC?18% is with out the Amex Blue card
How many other CCs do you have?12
If your AAoA outside of this 15 year old CC is 15 years, and it isn't your oldest revolving, then there's no risk to losing points due to the history of it.
Your mix is fine without it.
What's your overall CC util with this CC? (Is what I should have asked).
60%

I agree with IIecs, you'll be fine removing yourself from DW's CC, your AAoA's should still be way up there.
60% util is very high, I'm willing to bet if you got your util down below 9% your scores could be in the 750+ range if not higher. (Just my guess of course)
If being an AU on her card is causing your util to be too high, remove yourself from the card, but you said you have 12 other CC's and your util without the Blue is 18% and with the Blue it's 60%,
I'd consider removing myself from the card, but remember when you remove yourself from her card, you lose that 2800 CL as well, which will raise your util (or have you already calculated this into your figures?)
Work on getting that util down and your scores will def go up, util (debt to avail revolving credit is 30% of your FICO)
