This is for EQ not sure how many creditors use EQ would have to check the credit pulls database but still I've been getting a lot of boosts on my EQ score any idea why it gave me a 15 point boost for opening a new account? They pulled TU for the credit check so it didn't bring down my EQ score and it even boosted me when it finally showed up its a $600 secured personal loan.

Is it your only open installment loan? If so then it improved you credit mix resulting in a score increase.

No I have multiple open student loans which is why I'm wondering about it.
