You would think there should be laws in place to prevent this kind stuff, I can't find anything on it though. Thanx for the replies folks!   It's nice to know I'm not the only one gettin rolled.

I agree with Midnight's earlier post. I assume these accounts are CCs. If so, disputing these TLs can have a negative effect on your scores. Can you estimate what your util (CLs and balances) was on all your CCs before the disputes and what they are now excluding the CCs in dispute?

FICO 08 Scores (03-26-2015): EQ 814, EX 817, TU 822
All three scores were 850. Lost points for not having an open installment TL. So, BE WARNED!!!!!
