No, I haven't attempted it because I've decided I'm not concerned. But I haven't run into problems like you have.
I just cleaned up my name on all three CRA's. They had all kinds of combos. I went online and disputed the out of whack names on all 3. EQ & EX was easy. Only 1 out of 5 names TU asked for ID which I sent in and it was gone in a week. The other 4 names went through fine and were deleted. Basically the "Never known by this name" letter worked. I sent DL, SS card, Birth Cert (blackened parents names/info) state Firefighter & Paramedic license. Left only 2 names on each. Full or initial for middle name. Hope that helps some.

Where did you start the dispute process from? Was it through each actual CRA or was it through a monitoring software link or other means? When you say you sent them documentation, was it via snail mail or were you able to do it online some way? If you could provide a bit more info here I would find it very helpful. Thank you!

Went online and filed a dispute on all 3 CRA's under personal information. The only one that TU didnt accept in the "cart" was 1 name. I faxed the copies to them with a letter of never known by this name and no accounts on my credit report had that name at any time. It had my middle initial wrong. GL BBS and others
Gotcha, so you had to fax in documentation. When you fill out the disputes with each CRA online does it provide you with a fax number to sort of finalize your dispute? How long did the process take you?

Maybe 15 minutes total on all 3 CRA's websites. Wiped out 7 names, 6 addresses and 15 phone numbers in all. That 1 I had to prove the middle initial was wrong. Website said to mail in certain docs. I went to work and faxed them instead of snail mail. Fax gave me a confirmation sheet. Gone in 2 days.
Fax: Complete the dispute request form and fax your request to:

Attention: CCD (Consumer Contact Department)
Used this form: TU Fax Form Went to step 3. Basically said never known by this name. Think I got that phrase from doing EQ or EX onlines dispute page.
