Anyone had any luck w/PFD to Lord & Taylor

I'm typing a PFD to Lord & Taylor now.

Has anyone had any good luck with them ?

did you try disputing it first?  Aren't they out of business or is that only in my state?

They are still in business and I think my only option is a PFD.

Just wanted to know if anyone had any success with them and PFD's

I was going to send a PFD to Lord & Taylor but my latest CR is showing $0 balance with EQ reporting "Charged off account, account transferred or sold, reported 08-07".

I fear that this is going to come back to haunt me as another collection.

How should I proceed ?

Call Lord and Taylor and find out if the account is in outside collections or actually sold.  Smells like sold. 

If not sold, PFD Lord and Taylor

If sold, GW Lord and Taylor, PFD to CA ... use your descretion as to when to PFD if they are not reporting or contacting you.  Waiting has both pros and cons.
