Attn Navy Federal eDeposit user issues...fixed!

To all Navy Fed acct users...the latest Java update really jacked up our ability to select a scanner when using the eDeposit function.  Here is the "work around".

 

Go to Start Menu --> Programs --> Java --> Configure Java --->

When Java control panel opens, select Java tab --> Select "view" -->

You will see a box pop open for Java runtime environment settings.  Just below "runtime parameters" you will see an empty white box.  Double click that. Then clock ok, then click "apply".

 

Go back to Navy fed & you will see that the system now sees your scanner.

 

I sent NFCU a message letting them know that since they knew this was an issue, it might have been nice if they sent out a mass email letting users know the fix, rather than making each of us contact them to ask what's up!!
