Most states follow the uniform expungement guidelines. Misdemeanors are almost always expungeable. Once that has occurred and you have handled the aggregation sites that made the record available, it's a simple dispute letter to take it down because it can not be verified. In lieu of expungement I believe it is also possible to dispute the information was obtained from the source as mandated under FCRA. Because the information was obtained from a third part data broker, the record must come down.
