Back to seedling, but worth it..Gotta luv NFCU!

Back to seedling for me. Here's what went down. I was going to wait until August to buy a new vehicle but I was researching online and came accross the Military Overseas Carsales, which since I'm a contractor over here I can use. I priced a brand new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 and found it was about $3k cheaper than what the dealers were selling them for so I ordered one, it isn't even made yet and will be delivered when I get home in August. I called NFCU last night and within 5 minutes I was approved up to $43k at 1.79%. So as I said, back to seedling for me, and this is what I was gradening for anyway.

Congrats

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Thanks. MSRP for the one I'm getting is about 44k, dealers are selling them for about 45k with the options I got, I paid about 42k, with a 2 week guaranteed lowest price as soon as I pick it up. I got the Limited with the 5.7 MDS VVT V-8 and the Offroad Adventure II package, which comes with the Class IV tow package rated at 7400 pounds.

Congrats on the awesome Navy Fed rate!

FYI the Volvo XC90 AWD Military edition is awesome....

you can get it for around 40k which is super cheap for an XC90

I'm not sure if this deal is available for contractors or not

Volvo isn't even listed on the website. www.encs.com

Congrats. I got a quote through ENCS for a Ford Fusion a couple of months back (contractor also). Trying to decide if I really need a new car, or should continue to drive mine for a few more years when I get home for good.

I had the same thought at first but since new car prices are going up every year I figured might as well get it now. It will rarely be driven when most of the year, so it will last. And I tend to take care of vehicles and keep them anyway, my last truck was a 98 Chevy Z-71 that I bought in 2002 and it still runs great.
