Before opening a new credit card account

1.  Just checked my CR it is not reporting the new CC accounts (Amex CL $2000; Citi select platinum $1900) I opened about a month ago. Can someone tell me why that is?

2. Also, The citi billing cycle passed just a few days ago and amex billing cycle is coming up within a week. Both have $0 balance. So, what I am wondering is will my credit score increase or decrease after it is reported and shows up on CR? My CH is 4 years and no miss/late payments and never had any loans of any kind or any negative reports. I also have 5 different CC accounts (2 Capital one, 1 citi/sears, 1 Discover more, 1 Chase freedom)

Note: Checked CR from the same placed I check CS below

CS: Eqifax: 696 (myfico.com trial)); 704 TU (truecredit.transunion.com trial); Ex 706 (experian trial)

Re: Before opening a new credit card account

I can't speak for Citi, because I don't have any of their products, but Amex will probably report on your 2nd billing cycle.

And, as for how it'll impact your scores...? Hard to guesstimate. How old are your other 5 cards? What's your AAoA? You can also use your EQ myFICO report to access the score simulator. It may give you an idea, in so far as your EQ FICO score, as to whether or not the new credit will have a negative impact on your curren EQ score.
