Business Credit vs. Personal Credit

Is there a way to get free credit reports for an LLC or 501(c)3 (a company that has an employer/tax id)? I looked on annualcreditreport.com, but it looks like you can only enter an SSN.

I have a satisfied judgment on my personal credit report that was for a business with it's own Tax ID and I'm wondering if it's also appearing on the CR for the business.

Thank you!

It would not be on there. Personal CRs are only for individuals. There are business credit reports that report business activity. The reason why it's probably on your CRs is because you had a PG on it.

Re: Business Credit vs. Personal Credit

It was for a penalty for late filing of taxes. Would I have a PG on that??

How can I get the CR for the business? Can I get it free somewhere?

Nope not free. Check to see if you can pull a DnB report for the biz. Seems like the charge is not cheap.

Well, you are the principal of the business, so that's probably why it got there.

Also, EX and EQ both have business divisions. You can check those too. I bet that it's cheaper than D&B.
