Re: CA selling to CA's

CAs are know to sell accounts to another & then the new CA also sells!!  The FTC has told them they must delete when returning to an OC or selling but they never do.

A CA can keep reporting after you pay     They must report *paid*  *settled for less*  something like that.  They can continue to report until the CRTP is past (7-7.5 years after DOFD)

They can not sell if you paid them!

#1   file a complaint with the www.ftc.gov    for any CA that continues to report after selling the account!

Dispute with all CRAs that are reporting the CA that sold the account  *not mine*

You should always DV a CA   They must answer within 30 days  or stop all collections (includes reporting)

FICO treats paid & unpaid collections as the same!!

If you must pay a CA  you should always try a PFD.....they must delete after payment!!!!!

I would send a DV to all of them   CMRRR
