I did lotsa lotsa PFDs. I went full-court press on Sallie Mae for a group of inaccurate lates. I got a NFCU Visa CC w/ a $15K limit. I was patient & waited for old (paid) stuff to fall off.

Congrats ivyalmighty. You're almost in the 700 club with TU. They seem to like us both :-) I hope to break the 600 club on EX when I pull again after all of my accounts have updated for May. I also have a charge off that was still with the OC that should be updating any day now. These forums have been invaluable. When I signed up for myfico.com back in april 08 my EQ score was 510, 1.5 months later I'm at 623. I couldn't do it without the wealth of knowledge I picked up from these forums and also coming across people who are/were in the same/worse situations than myself. Hopefully my next update will be positive and coming soon.

that NFCU CL is nice!  Im still waiting to hear about my app.  Do you need a high income to get such a high limit?
