CMI Group - Most recent reply

Hopefully this means we are coming close to a deletion. Thank god!

Thank you for resending these!  I was able to open them this morning with
Windows Imaging.

We will contact Time Warner today to work on getting this closed out as ID
Theft. Once we've spoken with them, I will let you know.

Thank you again for your assistance. We should be very close to resolution
for you.

That is great news!  Did you finally send them the doc's they were requesting or did they relent?

Re: CMI Group - Most recent reply

I finally gave in and sent them copies of my social security card, FTC ID Theft Affidavit (notarized), a copy of a utility bill. They already had copies of my police report since I sent them previously.

Re: CMI Group - Most recent reply

I know it bite's having to offer it up, but if it mean's they clear you of it then it should be worth it in the long run.

Are you still going to try to get a new social? That is going to be the REALLY tough part. I wish I had left mine alone for all the headache's it is causing.

Even after faxing numerous document's from SSA to USAA concerning my accounts with them, I still won't know until Thurs or Friday next week if I will even be able to keep my membership. People really do not understand someone having conflicting information regarding SS #'s since it is almost impossible to get a new one issued.

Re: CMI Group - Most recent reply

I am still moving forward with the SS number change, and the name change. I figure it cant hurt, just in case my CR's get tied into one.
