CREDITONE paid off

I paid creditone off but they are charging me $8.25 a month.I used them to build my credit back up 704 so I guess they help me a little.I have three cards now that gave me a decent credit limit,I don't want to call them anymore cause I don't understand there english, thats why I wanted to no if they have a good email address.

I wanted to ask if there going to charge me for ripping up the card, because they have a history of shady business that I have been reading.

Thanks

Re: CREDITONE paid off

Try to make another online payment to cover the $8.25.  Send them a check too.

There are some recent threads on here concerning that $8.25 fee.

Congrats on closing that sucker.

What? You absolutely HAVE to call in if you want that card closed. IF I worked there I would just ignore your email. After all, they want your account to stay open... LOL

Feel free to "rip up" the card, its nothing but a symbolic gesture. It does not release you from any agreement with them. haha.

Just call in or have someone do it for you that can speak English as im sure they will try to fight you.

Now I got one other problem to take care off and there just as bad.Verizion there criminals and they suck, they like to give away free tablets and then find out I was getting a $40.00 data charge for me and my daughter,so I'm working on that.

Re: CREDITONE paid off

Good luck with removing the charge, they are usually pretty good about that.

An ex of mine years ago traded her phone in and was to get the package deal for buying a new phone.  Come to find out later the guy at the counter screwed up the paperwork so her data wasnt free for the first month.  Ended up with 897 in charges for listening to the radio on the phone for a few hours Smiley Tongue  They took it off with only minimal arguing.
