Can credit be impacted without address & no SSN?

A collection agency has been calling me about a debt I was unaware of. They have my full name phone and Date of birth but no address or SSN. I wonder if I should provide these info to them or, without these info, are they unable to report to credit bureaus?

Yes, so I just learned that its from a medical lab. I used a hospital that was in network for my insurance, but the testing lab within the same hospital building WAS NOT in network, so my insurance did not cover any part of my testing. I did not know it was possible for the lab to be seperate from the hospital otherwise I would have used an in network lab

Was sure not scam? We get scam calls atlest 3 or 4 times a year.. They can pull name on several websites and try to match it with a phone number.  How old is the debt?

Once they talk to you they have 5 days to mail written notice I believe.
