Can you dispute an Inquiry?

I have tried disputing inquiries with credit bureaus- but when I get a letter back- they never even address the inquiry dispute. I have 2 strange abbreviations to companies I dont recognize... CSC or something like that.... and how would I dispute it if I don't know what it is? Inquiries seem impossible to dispute.

are you sure it's csc? csc is essentially equifax, are these hard or soft inquiries? where did you obtain the report you noticed the inquiries on?
