Can you dispute an account to accelerate a GW adjustment's appearance?

Just wondering. Got an account deletion good will. If I dispute right now, will the account come off quicker than the 30 days most changes are automatically reported?

Re: Can you dispute an account to accelerate a GW adjustment's appearance?

i just did since bofa said they were going to delete all three, EXp is still reporting it so i disputed it and advised that it they had previous deleted it due to inactivity.  a lot of times the OC do not have your info anymore so they will just delete it.

when you disputed did the credit reporting agency delete it? And what should be your reason? Should I just say the inactivity reason? It sounds illegal to tell the CRA that the creditor "decided to delete my real" account. Thanks in advance.
