Cap 1 plat got a CLI after 2 months, want to deny and roll

It's been about 70 days after I opened cap 1 steps. SL $300, just offered another $100. I want to deny the CLi and  roll the card into a non-steps one so I get a higher CLI. Am I good to go now or do I have to wait longer?

And just double checking - saying "Do not change my credit line" is not going to put me into 6 month wait for another CLI?

edit - talked to a rep, he couldn't do anything. asked for a supervisor, same story.

went back and tried CLI again and got the same $100.  Ill try at 6 months, and get a new card with Cap 1 then too.

If you are on credit steps with cap1 you should get an auto CLI at 6 month.

If you are in credit steps, I would accept the $100 Cli, it means after 5 monthly payments you will likely get a CLI to $750 instead of $500.

That is what happened to me. Started at $300. accepted $100 CLI after a couple months, went to $750 at 5 months, then a $1500 CLI 6 months later.
