Cap1 CLI!

I have a Journey Student Visa from Cap1 opened in 11/11.  Started at $1000CL, credit stepped to $1500 6 mos later.  Today I noticed a new link on the Cap1 website to request CLI.  I did, entered my income, and got a $500CLI. No hard pull.  I'm still shocked, and the irony is that I was just approved for a $2000CL Visa with my CU.  But still, try clicking that Cap1 link!

Congrat! Cap One is usually horrible with CLI.

Be very wary about Crap 1, they have ruined me in the past. I still have one, an Orchard Bank card with a low CL of 1150, which was purchased by Crap 1 and I am not giving it up yet, not to destroy my AAOA

I too have my oldest account with Cap1 now, my old Household Bank MC that is 6 years older than my next-oldest account.  It has a $59AF, no rewards, and is still at the penalty 26.9% rate from a late payment in 2007.  They won't help me a bit.  Oddly, my cash advance rate is 24.9%, but I've never used it.

I opened my Cap1 VentureOne (one of the 2 cc's that I have) in early July and received 10,000 CL. I hope that I can get it to go up to 15,000 by summer of next year.
