Iwpuld go see the branch manager with a copy of your CHEX report - they can remove it easier than you can dispute it - and since their reporting is 'technically' inaccurate because you cleared the account - they should remove it.

I have gone thru Chex Systems hell and here is how it works.
 
Chex Systems is the Banking/CU industry gate keeper, and they only report the info given to them by members. They cannot remove anything unless requested by the reporting member. So, you have to go back to the bank and ask them to remove it. This is what I did and it worked.

FICO scores on November 17, 2014 (prior to applying for and being approved my mortgage)

EX=738
EQ=735
TU=754

FICO scores on March 4, 2015 after being approved for mortgage and buying the home, the mortgage isn't yet reporting.
