Collection Law Firm Notice

I received a letter from a collection law firm, stating that  they have retained to collect from me The total amount of $2722.90 . This is old debt that is at least 4-5 years old and does not show up on any of my fico scores. Should I pay this or not ?

Re: Collection Law Firm Notice

I would send a SOL and C&D letter.  Please be 100% sure that the statute has expired in your state...

What state are you in?  You may want to check the SOL for the state.
