Re: Collection from AAC? What company is this? where do I find out who they are?

They are required by FDCPA to send you a "dunning" letter that identifies them, the alleged debt and amount along with the OC and allows you 30 days to dispute the debt.  If they do not send you a letter AND report to your CRAs soon, you have a case against them.  Do what the moderator says and wait to find out which CA it is first.  The CA when reporting on a CRA should list their address of operation at least.  Not all list a telephone number, but most CAs do to get people to call and pay or divulge more info over the phone.  DO NOT CALL a CA.  All correspondances should be in writing CMRRR.  Best of luck with this agency once you find out who they are.  :-)
