Collection or Installment

I have a few accounts from the same CA.

They are listed for example:

TU has it listed as a collection account.

EX has it listed as a collection account.

EQ has it listed as a installment account.

My question is, is this hurting me or helping me? They are collections accounts.
Should I DISPUTE as incorrect, call the CRAs about where they are listed. Or let sleeping dogs lie.

I guess I wonder if a collections account listed as an installment account is hurting my FICO more than a collections account listed as a collections account would.

Any guesses, or knowledge is appreciated as always.

My guess is that it don't matter what it is, as long as it's in the collection accounts section of your credit report, it's affecting your score.

then i would leave it alone.  unless of course it's not yours, then by all means, dispute away.  But if it's yours then I would just leave it.

Re: Collection or Installment

thanks, Trini, I will just let it alone for now.

wasn't sure if getting out of installments might help enough to offset getting it listed in collections.
