Collections

My business took a downturn the latter part of last year due to illness. Fortunately I'm
getting back on my feet physically and business wise. However my business credit
card accounts with American Express hit 120 days late and went into collections.I had
4 accounts with them. One will be paid in full this month and the others I am making
sizable payments. My question is even when these accounts are paid in full will they
stay on my credit report under collections keeping my score down.  Of course my
score has dropped due to this but I will have them all paid off in the next few months.
Any advice or opinions appreciated.

Re: Collections

Try getting them to delete the paid ones with GW letter.........Also try a PFD for what you are paying now........they *might* accept it as you are paying it down fast.

Re: Collections

AMEX does not sell their CC debt to collections- So the CA is collecting for AMEX.

May want to contact the Oasis department-
