Correcting balances on credit report

If balances are incorrect on credit report, can one get the bureaus to update the balances by getting proof from the credit card companies rather than waiting to see when and if they report?

My balances were incorrect on several cards, I called the ccc's and had them do a manual update.  They were updated within 2 days.

Try and get the creditor to update the balances... The CRAs are always quick to delete good TLs when you dispute balances.

I find that funny because i dispute i made almost a month ago results finally rolls in. And what do you know, I started off disputed a balance that needed to be updated to $0 and they fricken delete account from all of my reports. How do I get the account back on my reports without it showing as a new account? Basically I want to retain all the good history from the account.
